L2 Aviation Training Coordinator in Dripping Springs, Texas

Position: Training Coordinator ​​​​​​ Location: Dripping Springs, TX (Austin, TX area) ​​​​ Job Description The Training Coordinator will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training programs for employees in order to improve their performance and knowledge. This role will work closely with the department heads to identify and pursue training and skills improvement opportunities, as well as support existing new hires onboarding and continued growth. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement training programs for employees. Identify training needs and gaps within the organization. Create and deliver training materials, including presentations, videos, and handouts. Facilitate training sessions and workshops. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as necessary. Collaborate with other departments and managers to identify areas where training is needed. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in employee training and development. Manage and maintain the training budget. Work closely with different departments to forecast future training requirements. Other duties as assigned are not specifically stated herein. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field 3+ years of experience in training and development Strong communication and presentation skills Experience with adult learning principles Experience with e-learning platforms and software Strong project management skills Ability to work well in a team environment. Strong organizational and time management skills Experience with budget management Five (5) years of aviation specific experience preferred. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment. Proven ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks within a group environment. Ability to accept direction and additional responsibilities from one or more sources. Ability to work as part of a team. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of computers and related software. Convey a positive and professional attitude towards staff members, customers and vendors. Punctuality expected and overtime hours as necessary. Ability to communicate in an assertive yet professional, motivating and tactful manner. Must be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing. Ability to work independently and cross-functionally. Ability to travel 20% of time for training at different remote locations. Strong time-management and organizational skills. Ability to read, write and speak the English language. Must pass background verification, pre-employment drug testing, and submit to company's Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program. Must be legally able to work in the USA and supply required supporting documentation. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment described here is representative of those required by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodations. The office building where this position works is a typical office environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues in the immediate vicinity of the workstation. The employee in this position will experience occasional outdoor exposure to heat, cold, and environmental elements when called upon to locate personnel working inside or outside of a production center.
