About the Role:

The Product Manager defines the product requirements and roadmap and is accountable for the product through the entire life cycle from concept to launch to end of life. The product manager is responsible for meeting the growth and revenue goals of their product.

This role is working within our Advanced Technology Collaborative who work very much like an R&D group. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved with both looking at what is possible with new product opportunities and also working out how we infuse AI into our existing product stack. The Product Manager will have the ability to:

Role Responsibilities:

The Product Manager role is responsible for individual products within a portfolio. Their activities include working closely with the Strategic Product Director and business partners to develop a strategic vision and roadmap for their product and effectively managing all aspects of strategic planning, business case development, and launch activities to meet the desired goals and market needs. The role reports to the Strategic Product Director.

The Product Manager integrates the activities of product management, product development, marketing communications, services and consulting in the development, implementation and maintenance of products that align with the business strategy.

  • Establishes Product Roadmaps for market offerings, including, developing new products, expanding on existing solutions, and leveraging existing products to build platform-based solutions.

  • Responsible for communicating with stakeholders across the board, including customers, business managers, and the development team to make sure the goals are clear and the vision is aligned with business objectives.

  • Partner with product architects to develop new products, expand on existing solutions, and leverage existing products to define solutions

  • Interacts with the Product Development organization to translate product requirements into technical specifications.

  • Understands customer workflow, as it relates to the relevant products and services, at a very deep level, in order to translate market requirements to Product Development and the value proposition to downstream functions.

  • Rationalizes product requirements across market segments.

  • Constantly collect and analyze performance data (e.g., market, financial, and operational) in order to identify new opportunities for the business.

  • Synthesizes competitive analysis and market assessments to establish go-to-market strategies that capitalize on market trends, customer needs and competitive positioning. Clearly understands the competitive landscape – competitor strategies, positioning, strengths and weaknesses

  • Segments markets, identifies target customers and uncovers market needs; Understands market trends and competitive threats

  • Responsible for go to market strategy, value proposition definition and key differentiation messaging

  • Conducts buy/build/partner analysis as part of investment planning and develops Business Cases to support this planning.

  • This role reports to the Strategic Product Director

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience in managing a diverse product portfolio

  • Bachelors degree level or higher in business, healthcare, or technology (or equivalent experience).

  • Extensive knowledge of software development process, experience with requirements management, project management, and complex projects and activities.

Preferred Experience:

  • AIPMM or PDMA Certification desired

  • MBA

  • Previous experience with AI and/or Machine Learning

  • Business process experience is desirable.
