Moore County Hospital District LVN Nursing Resource Associate - Part Time 10AM-2PM in Dumas, Texas

This is a Part Time Position. Position Summary: The Nursing Resource Associate will play a vital role in supporting the nursing division by primarily transporting swingbed patients upon admission and to/from appointments while under MCHD's care. This position will also involve daily surgical inventory management, assisting with quality measure abstraction, and fulfilling nursing division marketing needs, including travel to other communities. The role requires an individual who can manage various tasks with efficiency and professionalism, ensuring the smooth operation of services across the nursing division. Key Responsibilities: * Patient Transport: Safely transport swingbed patients upon admission and to/from appointments while under MCHD's care, ensuring patient comfort and timeliness. * Surgical Inventory Management: Conduct daily management of surgical inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and maintaining accurate records of supplies. * Quality Measure Abstraction: Assist in abstracting data for quality reporting purposes, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate and complete. Assist with end of month director reporting and other needs. * Nursing Division Marketing: Support nursing division marketing efforts, which may include travel to other communities to represent MCHD and its services. Ongoing Networking and community outreach. * Other Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to support the nursing division and ensure the efficient operation of services, not excluding assisting with care at the bedside. Qualifications: * Must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing. * Current Texas LVN License * Current CPR * Current ACLS * Preference given to candidates with acute care hospital experience. * Bilingual in English and another language is preferred. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. * Willingness to travel as required. * Active Driver’s License Work Environment: * The role requires working in a clinical setting and may involve travel to various communities. The position may involve lifting and transporting patients and supplies, requiring physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may require standing or walking for extended periods.
