Group Summary

The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. About the Role

Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in installing, repairing, maintaining machinery, facilities and equipment, and in fabricating small machines and tools.

Your Responsibilities

  • Directs workers in electrical, electronic, controls and mechanical maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment and provides technical support by monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing all complex electrical, electro-mechanical, automated sequencing systems, IT systems and robotics systems.

  • Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment and enforces safety regulations.

  • Maintains departmental purchase records and maintains spare parts inventory

  • Assigns job schedules and assists with contractor scheduling and quoting and responsible for the grounds being kept up and for building maintenance.

  • Directs workers engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery and purchase Requisitions and keeps supply of spare parts.

  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations and interprets specifications, blueprints, and Work orders to workers, and assigns tasks.

Who we are looking for

  • Knowledge of, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, PLCs and PCs.

  • Able to read various schematics (electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic) and blueprints.

  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and various industrial building/construction codes.

  • Computer literate in various windows programs.

  • Must have a current valid Driver’s License.

  • Must join a Committee (Fairness, Ergonomics, etc.)
