Description Location: Eastern or Central Time Zone (Remote) Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Direct Marketing Art Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the creation of direct marketing materials across various mediums including print, web, email, and television for Annual Enrollment and Open Enrollment sales campaigns. You will collaborate closely with other team leads to ensure brand messaging aligns with corporate marketing strategy and follows brand guidelines and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: Lead brainstorming sessions to develop effective brand messaging for communications projects. Develop and present cost-effective alternatives that align with budget and corporate marketing strategy. Ensure all content adheres to BCBSNC visual identity brand guidelines and regulatory requirements. Supervise the creation of internally-developed projects, ensuring they align with design and direct marketing best practices. Hiring Preferences: Demonstrated history of leading and collaborating in a high-performance environment. Leadership experience, including supervision of designers and production vendors, is preferred. Excellent creative writing and conceptual skills. Proven ability to develop fresh, original concepts. Deep knowledge of direct marketing best practices. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. Located in Eastern or Central time zone. Preference for hiring a senior art director/writer team with experience working together. Requirements Hiring Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of detail oriented experience in a corporate agency or studio design environment with increasing responsibility. Minimum of 5 years of detail oriented experience specializing in direct marketing. Portfolio showcasing produced direct marketing content, including direct mail and multiple direct response TV spots of 60 seconds or longer.
