GRAIL is seeking a Kit & Logistics Manager within the Supply Chain & Procurement (“SC/Proc”) Organization. This position will primarily lead the oversight and operational day-to-day around GRAIL’s kit and tube suppliers. This position is hybrid in Durham, NC or in Menlo Park, CA.
Responsibilities:
Support kit configuration management in QMS, supporting SCARs/Deviations/Change Controls
Supplier cost management, performance oversight, escalation and issue resolution
Supplier business reviews
SME around the end-to-end process to stand up new, or change in-place, kit configurations and PM the change
Interface with the SC/Proc
New Product Manager to work through new geographies and new products in the pipeline; translate to supplier requirements /configurations
Optimization of supply forecasting and build plan oversight for kit & tubes (as applicable / role will also sit with planning)
Interface with SC/Proc Logistics Manager for seamless delivery of kit & tube shipments
First line leader to the logistics team (two direct reports)
Purchase order management
Management of invoices
In addition, there is an expectation this role may cross-train with other positions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration
8 + years of experience in logistics and supply chain management
3+ years experience in any of the supported groups (Manufacturing, Operations, Contracting, Supply Chain, Planning, Sourcing, Supplier Management, Kit and Logistics, )
Experience with medical devices and ISO 13485
Experience with packaging and shipping validation
Experience working through SCARS (supplier corrective action report), deviations, change controls, supplier change notices.
Experience working in a QMS like Veeva.
Demonstrated experience in negotiation and strategic analysis

Physical Demands / Working Environment
Hours and days may vary depending on operational needs
Standing or sitting for long periods of time may be necessary
May be exposed to hazardous materials, blood specimens and instruments with moving parts, heating or freezing elements, and high speed centrifugation
A handful of domestic travel may be required per year (international travel on rare occasions)
Some lifting (up to 25 pounds) may be necessary
