Size and Scope:

Grain receiving, grading, cleaning and transfer as well as elevator maintenance duties and sanitation for MGI Grain Inc.

MGI Grain Inc. is a grain processing business in East Grand Forks, Minnesota. This position leads the grain receiving and cleaning process at MGI Grain Inc. Elevator. This position is responsible for staging grain at the mill for processing and a resource for elevator maintenance and repairs. Will keep record and complete paperwork, use computer and train staff.

Experience:

Mechanical skills and a successful work experience required.

Job Responsibilities - Elevator/Maintenance:

• Provide effective operations and maintenance of elevator receiving, conveying and grain cleaning machinery.
• Document all maintenance activities on work order forms.
• Scale incoming grain trucks loaded and empty and provide scale tickets to office personnel.
• Perform and document all required quality testing on incoming grain for accept/reject criteria. Clean, and bin accordingly.
• Load and scale feed trucks on outbound by-product shipments.
• Identify, perform repair and maintenance activities. Proactively execute preventative maintenance tasks.
• Weight and seal outbound food grade product shipments.
• Operate elevator, grain dump, and load out areas with SQF criteria and standards.
• Communicate required/necessary information to appropriate departments.
• Help when needed to produce, pack and load outbound shipments when necessary to meet production schedules.
• Sanitation of grain elevator, mill elevator, scale, grain elevator office dump pits, railroad line, bulk truck load out, finished product warehouse and entire grounds of MGI Grain.
• Any other duties as assigned by plant management.

Wage is based upon experience and skills within the range of $22 to $30 per hour. Full benefits and bonuses available. To apply
