Job Description

The Administrator of the Compliance & Corporate Governance (CCG) Office is responsible for the overall planning and directing of the research, analysis, investment compliance and corporate governance activities of the division. The CCG Office is responsible for the management of the Investment Compliance Program. The CCG Office also provides legal support in the monitoring, evaluation, and oversight of securities fraud litigation matters, as well as provides legal research and analysis, reviews and negotiates private market investment partnership agreements, monitors applicable regulatory changes, and recommends new and revised policies or administrative guidelines to the Chief Investment Officer, Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Director of Investments-Private Markets, and Director of Investments-Public Markets. The CCG Office is also responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and drafting proposed legislation as well as advising Bureau administration on compliance issues and developments. The CCG Office performs investment compliance audits and compliance risk assessments in all operational areas.

Education

Possession of a bachelor’s degree in any major.

Experience

Two years of experience as a professional manager or program/staff specialist, or equivalent experience.

Alternate Education and Experience

Education level typically acquired through completion of high school and three years of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 14 level; or two years of safety and regulatory or law enforcement supervisory experience at the 15 level, may be substituted for the education and experience requirements.

This position is eligible to work remotely on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and must work onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Selected candidate must have a safe and appropriate designated workspace or workstation for performance of work and secure and sufficient internet access of commercial cable or wireless broadband with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload .

Work must be performed in the state of Michigan. If you currently reside outside of Michigan, you must relocate to Michigan prior to your appointmentto perform the duties of this position. Relocation expenses are not reimbursed.

Paid Parental Leave:Eligible employees can take12 weeks of paid leaveimmediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
