About the Role:

As a CBRE Events Coordinator, you support all departments within the events team both operationally and administratively. Areas of concentration include buyer relations, event sales, call campaigns, event operations, and administrative duties.

This job is part of the Events job function. They are responsible for the creation, management, and execution of events for internal and external clients.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform Tradeshow & Market outreach to retail buyers via call campaigns, email campaigns or in person visits.

  • Assist with sales efforts through various rollout campaigns inclusive of calls, emails, competitive research and data entry.

  • Oversee all contract filing, processing and billing activities acting as the liaison between the events team and accounting department to ensure clients are contracted and paid.

  • Perform office administrative tasks such as filing, managing databases, email template creation, spreadsheet maintenance and creation, reports and presentations.

  • Conducts fashion market research and develops contacts with the retail buyers, brands, and potential venue clientele.

  • Analyzes attendee data to assist the events team with strategic outreach plans.

  • Conduct regular trend watching at both the retail and brand levels to educate the team on opportunities for buyer programming, sales outreach, and marketing initiatives.

  • Able to analyze market data, critical metrics, and other statistical data to produce intuitive reports used to measure efficiency of marketing efforts.

  • Assists events team with temp rental requests, emails, tours, and contracts.

  • Assist with post-event reporting and reconciliation. Intensify potential issues and concerns as appropriate.

  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.

  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.

  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You’ll Need:

  • Degree in Communication, Marketing, Hospitality or related field and 1-2 years’ experience

  • Fashion knowledge, experience, and interest are essential.

  • Fulfill the physical requirements associated with this role. This includes stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs. Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Events Coordinator position is $43,000 annually [or $20.67 per hour] and the maximum salary for theEvents Coordinator position is $63,000 annually [or $30.29 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
