Job Title: Quality Technician

Job Description

The Quality Control Technician will report to the Quality Supervisor and be responsible for performing dimensional and visual inspections of machined and stamped parts to ensure that all products meet the established manufacturing and regulatory specifications. Support Production team members on manufacturing floor.

  • Wash, dry and maintain production counts of Metal Tacks from production line
  • Operate two (2) Heat treating ovens
  • Inspect in-process and finished goods from production lines of multiple shifts
  • Assist with Inspection of incoming / outsourced products from suppliers
  • Maintain production and inspection records in accordance with ISO 9001:2015
  • Maintain records of inspections and calibrations
  • Assist in Creating Certificate of Conformances for product ready to ship
  • Record filing
  • Other Duties such as assisting with Safety/COS projects
  • Any other duties as required when assigned by supervisor

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in East Providence, Rhode Island.

Work Environment

Fast-paced office environment. Mon – Friday 6:30 – 3:00. Weekends and Overtime as needed. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds frequently, repetitive use of hands with simple grasping, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds. The position also requires standing, walking, lifting, squatting, reaching above shoulders, and twisting.
