Job Description:

The Back End Web Developer will be responsible for the server-side web application logic as well as the integration of the front-end part. This role demands a detail-oriented professional who specializes in developing web applications and platforms. With a focus on performance, scalability, and security, the ideal candidate will contribute to the architecture and development of our digital offerings, ensuring a seamless, high-performing, and robust user experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Server-Side Development: Develop and maintain scalable server-side logic using back-end programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, or .NET.

• Database Management: Design and manage database schemas. Optimize queries for performance and scalability. Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases is essential.

• API Integration and Development: Build and maintain APIs for web functionalities. Ensure data exchange is seamless between servers and users through efficient back-end services.

• Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers and other team members to integrate server-side logic, ensuring alignment with the project's objectives and timelines.

• Security and Data Protection: Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

• Performance Optimization: Monitor and improve back-end performance. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.

• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks. Adopt best practices in back-end development to enhance project quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience

• 2 years' work experience in front-end website development

• Proven experience as a Back End Developer or similar role, with a portfolio of successful back-end projects.

• Proficiency in back-end languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, .NET) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Node.js).

• Experience with database technology (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) and web server technologies (e.g., Apache, Nginx).

• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and API development.

• Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

• Experience working for a US company is a plus.
