YOUR TEAM

You will be joining a multidisciplinary team of experts in the UK, with a strong focus of the delivery of technological driven consulting and software. Our projects span the energy industry (e.g., geothermal, CO2 storage, and oil & gas), the nuclear waste storage sector (e.g., geosphere characterisation, safety and engineering), through to infrastructure (e.g., tunnels, slopes and building geotechnics), and mining (e.g., slope and bench stability, underground mining, through to lithium extraction and leaching).

Our business and clients are global, including major international companies, governmental organisations, and academic institutions.

This role reports to the senior leaders of the WSP Geoscience Modelling group located in the UK. The core of our UK-based team comprises 15 geoscientists, engineers, hydrogeologists, and computer programmers. However, we routinely work with international geoscience and engineering colleagues in Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Australasia.

A choice of nationwide office locations is available for the role.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills to effectively network with teams and clients, including proficiency in the English language.

  • Possess a robust skill set to predict, estimate and track myriad project requirements, such as budgetary and reporting specification.

  • Have strong verbal communication skills, whether face-to-face, over the phone or via video conference, i.e., so that different, potentially non-specialist professionals can understand our technical deliverables and their implications.

  • Have strong written communication skills, i.e., so that you effectively communicate with different stakeholders, managers and/or staff and support project documentation.

  • Have strong visual communication skills, i.e., to create simple yet effective presentations for meeting project or marketing needs.
