Boeing Space, Intelligence and Weapons Systems (SI&WS) Integrated Design Engineering is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Antenna Radio Frequency (RF) and Subsystems Engineering Manager to lead the Antenna RF and Subsystems Engineering organization in El Segundo, CA . The Antenna RF and Subsystems Engineering Manager will be leading all antenna electrical design and analysis as well as product ownership of Antenna subsystems requirements and verification.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and champion creativity, innovation, affordability, and organization initiatives.

  • Provides oversight and technical approval of electrical engineering approaches, processes, and antenna subsystem engineering activities.

  • Strategic roadmap and product development as well as technology insertion of all antenna products.

  • Accountable for overall electrical design of all commercial and government antenna products.

  • Provides electrical engineering leadership and ensures common electrical engineering processes across programs and product lines for adherence to engineering requirements, best practices, and design re-use.

  • Leads employees performing activities within multiple electrical engineering disciplines and products.

  • Manage all staffing needs, determine critical skills, forecasts, obtains and manage personnel, facilities, services, equipment, and tools to meet project and organizational needs.

  • Leader will be required to develop and motivate the team along with growing the skills/capabilities of the organization.

  • Champion’s recognition of employees’ achievements, increase employee satisfaction, employee safety and retaining a skill to create a motivated workforce.

  • Coaches, counsels, mentors, active listens to employees’ concerns/suggestions and provides developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance performance of the organization and individuals.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams.

  • 1+ year of experience developing engineering processes.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with antenna architectures and optimization.

  • Experience in engineering development, design, and analysis.

  • Experience with phased array antenna design, production, and verification.

  • Advanced degree preferred.
