Job Overview:

This team-oriented unit provides a wide variety of Medical/Surgical III and diagnostic services to a diverse population.

TheNursing Assistantis an integral part of the nursing team providing direct patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency

• Completion of a nursing fundamentals course in an accredited School of Nursing or Certified Nursing Assistant, preferred

• CPR within six months of date of employment as a Nursing Assistant or prior experience as a nursing assistant; Ability to perform all competencies of the position is required for employment in the position.

• Certifications and Licenses:

• BLS certification through American Heart Association

Scheduling Requirements:

• Nights 11PM-7:30AM

• Mandatory Orientation

• Full-Time (40 hrs)

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for daily nursing care, ADL'S and Restorative nursing

• Resident care includes grooming, toileting incontinent care, bathing, transferring, positioning, ambulation, feeding and documentation
