Job Title: Lamination Operator

Job Description

As a Lamination Operator, you will be responsible for mixing adhesive according to specific formulas and conducting first piece inspections. Your duties will include setting up and operating the lamination machine according to established procedures, maintaining cleanliness of machines and adjacent work areas to meet SQF standards, and utilizing satellite containers for Hazardous Waste. You will also report any quality issues to the Laminator Operator I and/or management for analysis or remedy, verify correct calculations of adhesive needed for jobs, determine and prepare impression rollers, and assist with adding adhesive, changing raw material rolls, and other tasks. Additionally, you will operate the machine during break coverage and participate in performance system activities as required.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

Work Environment

Shifts available include 5:45am - 6:15pm (Day Shift) at $19.84/hr and 5:45pm - 6:15am (Night Shift) at $21.84/hr. The work environment may get dirty and have odors due to adhesive usage. The facility spans 500,000 sq ft with a strong emphasis on safety and cleanliness, compliant with GMP standards. Safety gear required includes safety shoes, hair nets, ear plugs, and safety glasses. The facility has recently invested $8 million in new machinery with additional investments planned. Breakrooms have been updated with a new self-serve vending process.
