Overview

• Conduct rebate audits for accuracy and answering complex questions that arise from these audits. Will serve as the point of contact for vendor related rebate matters.

• Maintain the Vendor Audit Checklist by Quarter and Annual

• Responsible for POD Rebates

• Backup and assist the Rebate Manager in the following areas

• Overseeing vendor and customer rebate programs as well as audit of the programs and various analysis through the utilization of Vendor management software, ERP software, BI tools, and other resources.

• Singer’s customer and vendor rebate programs.

• Accurately calculating and following up with rebates both in the ERP system and through external reporting

• Interact with the purchasing, sales, marketing and finance departments as needed

• Continuously monitor and review purchase data to ensure we are maximizing opportunities for returns.

• Train this person to be able to be the backup in the absence of the Rebate Manager. the absence of the Rebate Manager.

Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance or related areas

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external customers as well as establishing and maintaining good working relationships

• Intermediate proficiency in standard software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel) and ability to use BI tools

• Self-starter with the necessary initiative to identify areas for improvement

• Analytical mindset with ability to analyze complex data

• Strong attention to detail

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

• Experience with supplier rebates preferred

• Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse prior exposure a plus
