Job Title: Customer Service/Sales Support
Job Description
The Customer Service/Sales Support provides current and prospective domestic and international customers with information about products, services, processes purchase orders, quotations, product returns, and complaints, all while building solid customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities of essential functions include:
Answer incoming calls and emails to assist the customer or route to the appropriate company function
Enter customer purchase orders into ERP, create sales order confirmations and packing slips
Contact customers to resolve questions, inconsistencies and or missing data in purchase orders
Enter new/prospective customer accounts into ERP and Outlook and update information in current accounts as needed
Generate product quotes for customers to provide information about product pricing and availability
Cross-reference competitor products to their products
Respond to shipping inquiries and order status questions
Provide backorder updates to customers and process backorder shipments
Create return authorizations and process product returns
Document, research and resolve customer complaints regarding products or services and complete complaint processing procedure in a timely manner
Escalate customer issues and feedback to management as needed
Assist customers in navigating the website and online store
Perform scanning and filing of documents

This is a fully on-site position in Emerson, New Jersey.
Work Environment
Working schedule: 8:30 am to 5:15 pm with a 45-minute unpaid break.
