Good Shepherd Village at Endwell is looking for a talented Skilled Maintenance Carpentry to join our team!
Position Details Day shift 40 hours per week

Position Summary
The Skilled Maintenance Carpentry is responsible for the successful completion of the jobs given to them to include: completing on time, on budget, and maintaining a high level of quality, safety, and professional communication. Knowledge of construction methods and various trades such as demolition, framing, drywall, painting, flooring, tiling, finish carpentry, window, door and siding installation. May at times need to deal with customer requests, questions, and inquires in a polite and business-like manner.
Plumbing such as installing toilets, faucets, water lines, showers, and tubs
Electrical installing light fixtures, connecting appliances, low voltage lighting, replacing receptacles and switches
HVAC (Experience is a plus)
Painting & drywall repair
All levels of trim/millwork installation including pre-finished moldings, crown, base, and doors
Installation of all types of cabinetry, cabinet hardware, custom pieces
Ability to read plans and follow instructions
Job Requirements
Education: High School diploma. Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program would be a plus
License: Valid Driver's License
Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age. Ability to read, write and speak the English language. Experience using hand and power tools such as drills, chisels, sanders, saws and nail guns. Knowledge of building regulations and codes.
Experience: Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or a minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a journey-level carpenter
