Robert Half Grant Analyst in Enfield, Connecticut

Description

We are offering a employment opportunity for a Grant Analyst . This role involves a blend of a financial, and project management tasks and is ideally suited to those with a knack for interpreting policies, creating budgets, material preparation, and collaborating with staff. While experience with grants and contracts is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite for this role. Strong excel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work to ensure compliance with applicable standards

• Create and manage project budgets, ensuring all financial operations align with project goals

• Prepare necessary materials for projects, and coordinate with staff on their delivery

• Use Accounting Software Systems to track and analyze financial data

• Utilize Banner Ads, Concur, and Hyperion Technologies for varied administrative and project management tasks

• Perform Accounting Functions and manage Budget Processes as per the project requirements

• Prepare and maintain Documentation related to all financial transactions

• Monitor Expenditure and prepare Expense Reports as needed

• Apply Grant Accounting principles and oversee Grant Administration

• Work with Government Grants, ensuring all financial operations are compliant and efficient

• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems for efficient project management.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Grant Analyst

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Experience with Banner Ads is necessary

• Familiarity with Concur software is expected

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required

• Must have experience with Hyperion Technologies

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions is essential

• Must have experience with Budget Processes

• Ability to handle Documentation tasks efficiently

• Must have knowledge of Expenditure procedures

• Experience with Expense Reporting is mandatory

• Proficiency in Grant Accounting is necessary

• Must have experience in Grant Administration

• Experience with Government Grants is require
