Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Escondido, California

Description:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains production and facilities machinery and equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, including mechanical equipment such as, engines, electrical motors, natural gas burners, conveyor systems, and mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to meet production schedules.

  • Observes electronic, electrical, mechanical, and gas devices in operation and listens to their sounds to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair cause of trouble or breakdown.

  • Dismantles devices and/or equipment to gain access to remove, replace, or repair defective or worn parts using hoist, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.

  • Examines parts to detect imperfections and inspects used and/or new parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices.

  • Measures equipment compliance with its electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical operating design parameters and knows how to obtain those parameters.

  • Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and/or production systems following written job orders.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of maintenance technician experience.

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant repair experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • MUST HAVE good preventative maintenance experience.
