The Hertz Corporation Revenue Management Intern in Estero, Florida

Revenue Management Interns may be asked to help support a variety of functions, including pricing, yield, analytics, revenue strategy, and operations research. Interns are expected to observe, learn, and own tasks that will assist the RM team in strengthening our revenue position. This role has an impact on our financial performance, Hertz leadership, and financial-related aspects of the business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Creating and Implementing Exception Reporting

  • Identifying underperforming channels and segments and crafting recommendations for their improvement

  • Strengthening our pricing positions for holidays and peak periods

  • Assist in the review of rate canvassing and identify areas where we may be underserved.

  • Assist in scheduling, training, and execution of new processes.

  • Participate in or lead a project to improve current revenue management processes.

What We’re Looking for:

  • Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master’s in math, statistics, computer science, information management, finance, or economics.

  • Proficiency in Analytics, including the ability to conduct root cause analysis, identify key issues, and present succinct recommendations.

  • Ability to make quick decisions, take risks, and own results.

  • Strong oral and written communication

  • Process innovation and development.

  • Excellent computer skills are essential.

  • Previous experience within a complex demand/supply planning environment, revenue management role, or predictive analytics field preferred

  • Knowledge of revenue optimization, pricing science, and economic principles preferred.

  • Tableau and SQL skills preferred.
