The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Environmental Health & Safety Disability Management Specialist based out of Everett, Washington.
This position will support Everett site Operations Customers, work with various stakeholder and partner organization Boeing Health Services, Workers Comp Administrator, Third Part Administrators, Accommodation Services, Environmental Health & Safety.
Works with management and employees to initiate and facilitate interactive discussions for medical restrictions and qualifications.
Identifies essential job functions and reasonable accommodations, reassignment processes and potential outcomes. Works with third party administrators and Workers' Compensation Administrators to assist with detailed claims management.
Performs analysis to ensure consistent placement decisions.
Facilitates employee's return to work. Documents, maintains and extracts employee case information and ensures data integrity and confidentiality.
Provides early intervention to injured or ill employees to prevent time loss from work.
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience vocational rehabilitation, workers compensation, and/or disability management field
Bachelor degree or higher
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Capable of working any shift
Experience with medical confidentiality
Experience with Human Resource practices, American Disabilities Act (ADA)
Experience with Government Laws and Regulation
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
