Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) - Permanent Position

CTTX Health is currently hiring for a permanent position of Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN). As a Medical ICU RN, you will work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, providing specialized care to critically ill patients.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor patients' conditions in the Medical ICU.

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

  • Monitor and adjust life support systems and equipment.

  • Interpret and respond to changes in patients' conditions.

  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

  • Current BLS, and ACLS certifications.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.

  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

  • Ability to work permanent shifts and be part of a rotating schedule.
