Details: Job Title: Wire and Electrical Equipment Engineer Pay Rate: Up to $68.73/hr DoE Location: Everett, WA ZIP Code: 98204 Job Type: Contract Start Date: Right Away Keywords: #ElectricalEngineeringJobs #WireElectricalEquipmentEngineer JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Design of wire harnesses and installation of the wire harness in a monument that would ultimately go into a commercial aircraft while meeting vendor, OEM, FAA, and internal requirements. * Integrate electrical components using the wire harness design ensuring vendor, FAA, OEM and internal requirements are met. * and OEM requirements * Works on an Integrated Project team ensuring wire harness design and electrical component integration are compatible with surrounding mechanical structure and water systems. * Directs the work of outsource resources assigned on projects in electrical integration areas. * Verify system configuration and block diagrams. * Prepare, modify and release drawings created in CAD (NX) to verify fit, form and function of mechanical and electrical designs. * Design brackets and fixations for electrical components and wiring as needed. * Evaluate materials and parts for use in new designs including communicating with current and new suppliers. * Operate in a team environment with other functional areas providing input to design solutions and participate in design reviews. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be a US Citizen, US Person or Foreign National w/ Right to Work in US (Sponsorship by supplier) * Bachelor"s degree in electrical, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering from a four-year accredited college/university required and 3-5 years of experience. * Equivalent experience or education will be considered. * Experience with the design of wire harnesses and installation of the wire harness in a commercial A/C monument using a 3D modeling package. * AutoCAD 2d drawings, NX wire routing/modeling experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Prior experience in the design of electrical systems or systems packaging for commercial aircraft interior products is a plus. * Familiarity with FAA requirements and/or knowledge or experience with applicable aircraft specs related to wiring routing. * Experience with mechanical routing of electrical harnesses, hydraulic lines or other mechanical routing.
