Job Description:

As an Appian Developer, supporting GDIT’s Global CIO Business Process Automation team, you will work with the internal GDIT departments (such as Finance, HR, Contracts, etc.) to development, deploy and maintain process automations.

This position is Hybrid to the District of Columbia, Maryland and Northern Virginia (DMV) area.

Responsibilities & Education requirements:

  • Education: BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline or (5+ of experience and certifications)

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with process design, integration, testing, and implementation with Appian 23.3 (or higher versions) BPM platform

  • Work independently without direct supervision or guidance.

  • Manage multiple projects at the same time with minimal oversight.

  • Provide software development life cycle support, including conducting functional and technical requirements analysis with stakeholders, design, development, testing, deployment, as well as post go live run and maintain.

  • Configuring, debugging, and systems integration including configuring forms, reports, underlying logic, and interface components as a developer.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Highly motivated and detail oriented

  • US Citizenship required.

Desired Experience:

  • Certified Appian Developer

  • 1+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL scripting including Oracle database integration.

  • Excellent analytical and technical skills.

  • Strong communication skills and strong problem-solving skills

  • Experience integrating Appian processes with systems such as Oracle EBS, Workday, ServiceNow, and other SaaS or COTS solutions.
