Transportation Operations Manager (Passenger) - Fairfax, VA (Immediate Need!)

Reston Limousine is a 29-year-old family owned, employee focused passenger transportation company and the largest in the Washington, DC area. We are growing and searching for CDL and Non-CDL Drivers for Bus Routes, Shuttles, and Charter in Sedans, SUVs, Vans, Mini-Buses, Coach Buses, and Transit Buses throughout Virginia, Maryland, and DC.

We are seeking a full timeTransportation Operations Manager to join a very busy job site in Fairfax, VA. This position requires a Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement.

This is a full time position reporting directly out of Farifax, VA

Requirements: - Should have strong computer skills, be organized, and highly motivated. - Prior supervisory experience in a transportation setting preferred - Transportation Operations Manager should have good verbal/written communications skills - CDL License required with Passenger endorsement - Transportation Operations Manager requires valid DOT medical card - Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work extra hours if needed.

Essential Job Functions: - Must be able to motivate and manage drivers from diverse cultures and with diverse personalities - Must have the ability to quickly analyze, troubleshoot and develop strategic solutions to daily situations, and have good communication skills - Manage day-to-day requirements of the contract to ensure compliance - Transportation Operations Manager must be flexible, organized and able to multi-task - Must maintain an effective working relationship with company staff - Transportation Operations Manager must have a working knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicles, equipment, maintenance, and company policies and procedures - Manage ta dynamic team including a supervisory staff and 75 drivers (make sure they are on time, following their routes, following dress code, review driver paperwork and daily passenger logs, etc.)
