Rumpke Of Ohio Inc Hydraulics Inventory Specialist in Fairfield, Ohio

Description Inventory Specialist are responsible for ensuring the availability of parts for the Hydraulic Division in a cost-effective manner while maintaining compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies and procedures. This position maintains records on a computerized system and is responsible for the inventory of parts and equipment. This position routinely requires moderate to physical exertion and may require lifting up to 75 pounds. The hours of physical demand may vary by location. Responsibilities of Position: Establish and controls stock levels for parts and equipment through a computerized inventory system. Processes and ships parts orders for all Rumpke divisions. Receives and unpacks parts, verifies accuracy of shipment from vendor, and stocks in proper bin locations. Maintains records on back ordered status and fills any open back orders. Fabricates hose assemblies for customers, providing proper replacement seals and adapter fittings. Generates invoices and purchase orders in computer system. Performs a daily inventory audit of previous days sales and create a purchase order of purchase requisition for any needed parts. Deliver and pick up parts to customers and vendors. Performs routine housekeeping duties in the showroom, parts room, hose room, and all work areas. Maintain a professional work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stock room; perform routine housekeeping duties in the parts room, shop, and work area. Other duties as assigned. Skills & Abilities Needed for Position: Basic knowledge of hydraulic hose fabrication. Basic knowledge of hydraulic components. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, Excel (including statistics and pivot tables a plus), Access & Word. Possesses a solid understanding of inventory-related best practices. Ability to effectively utilize parts manuals and manufacturers build sheets. Computer proficiency with good data entry skills. Additional Working Conditions/Aspects: Legally eligible to work in the United States. Valid driver's license (if applicable). Must successfully complete pre-employment testing. Must be able to read and speak the English language.
