Standex Electronics is seeking a Senior Director of Supply Chain to develop and execute on key supplier management and material fulfillment strategies, to position to achieve business growth and best-in-class customer service levels, through improved supply chain risk management and meaningful long-term material cost reduction. The Senior Director of Supply Chain plays a critical role in leading and managing all aspects of the supply chain function to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. This role involves strategic planning, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement and meet organizational objectives. This position will report into the VP of Global Operations and Supply Chain. In addition, the incumbent will serve as a member of the leadership team and participate in sourcing and PPV discussions. The incumbent will have direct reports across North America and Asia Pacific. What You'll Do Strategic Planning Build and manage an optimal supplier base and material planning processes, to execute Annual Plan, Strategy Deployment and Strategic Sourcing initiatives, aligned with the business's financial goals. Develop and manage clear capacity and contingency models to assure proactive support of sales initiatives, New Product Development, Value Add and Value Engineering, and other strategic needs. Identify major division-wide savings opportunities and develop action plans to achieve those goals. Lead and implement PPV and indirect cost reduction strategies that meet required objectives for key division-wide opportunities, existing and new products, to include identifying, developing, implementing alternative sources of supply. Manage inventory levels based on Market Rate of Demand principles such that 100% customer service fill rates are achieved using vendor scorecard communication to assure supplier alignment. Direct supplier initiatives to reduce lead times and minimize inventory exposure in support of market-leading service levels. Ensure the division sourcing processes and checks meet all legal and financial policy requirements. Identify opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and process improvement throughout the supply chain network. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and track supply chain performance. Supplier Management Support and execute the Supplier Quality Management process, including supplier development, qualifications and performance standards. Oversee supplier selection, negotiation, and relationship management. Evaluate supplier performance and implement initiatives to improve quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate across the enterprise to leverage Standex's spend and supplier relationships to optimize results. Collaborate with suppliers to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of supply. Inventory Management Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts. Develop inventory strategies to support production schedules, customer demand, and seasonal fluctuations. Implement inventory control measures and systems to track, manage, and forecast inventory levels accurately. Logistics and Distribution Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Optimize logistics networks to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize transportation costs. Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline operations. Process Improvement Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the supply chain. Lead cross-functional teams to implement lean methodologies and other best practice
