Summary of duties: Weld production parts and assemblies of various ferrous metals including fusing, seam-welding, cylinder, and related welding types. Works on various metals including stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized, black iron, etc. Use of various welding methods including gas and heli-arc. Performs related welding duties. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Trained welder of Vo-Tech school background with a minimum of one year of related production arc/heli-arc welding experience. Welding print-reading ability. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to operate hand tools.
