Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accountant in Farmers Branch, Texas. The role is set within the industry and requires proficiency in several accounting functions. The selected candidate will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle accounts payable and receivable management.

• Conduct regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

• Prepare and present financial statements, providing a clear picture of the company's financial health.

• Handle journal entries and accruals to reflect the company's financial activities accurately.

• Take part in some commercial/consumer collections, working closely with the sales team.

• Administer HR-related tasks, maintaining a smooth workflow within the company.

• Process payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.

• Manage insurance negotiations and claims, protecting the company's interests.

• Use QuickBooks Online for various accounting functions and cash flow analysis.

• Ensure all accounting activities adhere to the annual budget.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a bookkeeping role

• Proficient in accounting functions

• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in preparing an annual budget

• Able to perform cash flow analysis

• Proficient in using Quickbooks Online

• Experience in managing payroll

• Familiar with bank reconciliations

• Ability to perform credit card reconciliation

• Experience in the preparation of financial statements
