The HR Business Partner serves as a consultative business partner to senior managers within assigned business groups. The primary responsibility of this position is to participate in the implementation of strategies relating human resources and general HR support of employees in their area of responsibility and/or stakeholder group. These individuals have specialist knowledge and answer queries related to their area of responsibility and/or stakeholder group.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the design, development and execution of full cycle recruitment plans and talent sourcing strategies.

  • Analyses business unit data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience.

  • Support the creation of effective employee relations, retention and rewards programs.

  • Contributes to the design and implementation of strategies relating to the recruitment, development, engagement and general HR support of employees in the area of responsibility and/or stakeholder group.

  • Act as a consultative business partner to the assigned stakeholder group by advising them of trends in HR practices, the labour market and general developments that could impact on the human resources in the area of responsibility.

  • Execute programmes developed by the relevant HR / CoE team in the assigned stakeholder group.

  • Works across multiple teams to driving change in the organisation

  • Assist with the implementation of more complex HR programs as required

  • Ensure that all employees are mapped to the correct NTTJF jobs, to continuously alignment to the NTT job framework and drive effective employee metrics.

  • Assist in the deployment, management and measurement of learning and development programmes.

  • Proactively support the compilation of talent pipelines, execute targeted recruitment campaigns for prospective employees and support any other initiatives required to effectively recruit for the area of responsibility.

  • Contribute to driving the on-going engagement of employees in the assigned stakeholder group through communication, information sharing and knowledge management.

  • Undertake regular reviews of data and trends to understand performance and productivity drivers in the relevant employee base.

  • Actively contribute to the growth and success of the business in the designated stakeholder group.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • Good understanding of HR functions, processes, and best practices.

  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

  • Understanding of recruitment processes, candidate sourcing, and selection methods.

  • Knowledge of performance appraisal processes and performance improvement techniques.

  • Good understanding of employee relations principles and conflict resolution.

  • Familiarity with HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

  • Seasoned in talent development strategies and succession planning principles.

  • Good understanding of organisational design, change management, and workforce planning.

  • Ability to analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and insights.

  • Familiarity with HR technology systems and software for data management and HR administration.

  • Ability to understand the organisation's business model, industry, and market dynamics.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with employees, managers, and stakeholders.

  • Skill in analyzing HR-related issues and recommending appropriate solutions.

  • Ability to provide consultative advice and guidance to business leaders on HR matters.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Capacity to think strategically and align HR strategies with overall business objectives.

  • Proficiency in using data to drive HR decision-making and measure HR effectiveness.

  • Demonstrating a professional demeanour in all interactions and communications.

  • A focus on providing quality HR support and service to employees and managers.

  • Willingness to adapt to changes and embrace new HR initiatives.

  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the HR field.

  • Upholding ethical standards in all HR practices and decision-making.

  • Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders to gain support for HR initiatives.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Advanced Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology

  • Relevant vendor certifications

  • HRBP Certification

Required Experience:

  • Seasoned experience working as a HR Business Partner in a global organisation

  • Ability to work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at different levels in the business

  • Seasoned experience in HR Technologies including experience in HRI, LMS, e-Recruitment and Payroll systems

  • Good understanding of HR Data and Metrics
