Maritz Analyst - Financial Systems Analyst I in Fenton, Missouri

Provides efficient, functional financial systems support to one or more designated Financial Systems serving Run-the-Engine, Enhancement, and Roadmap needs. Responsibilities are varied and include things like application maintenance, customer support/trouble shooting, testing new or adjusted functionality, completing/maintaining support and user training documentation, delivering user training, executing change management, and providing other ongoing support for designated applications.

Primary Responsibilities

PRODUCTION SUPPORT/ADMINISTRATION/FINANCIAL 50%: May include any or all of the following depending on the application(s) supported:

· Administers security rights to the system for end users.

· Monitors and manages the systems mailbox and fields phone calls for end users’ inquiries.

· Performs daily or monthly balancing for data sent or received between touchpoint applications.

· Uses accounting and/or systems acumen to investigate and resolve production issues. When needed, involves the appropriate individuals from cross-functional support teams to resolve issues.

· Provides end user training to the applications supported and/or processes surrounding the applications.

· Provides support to touchpoint applications teams both "upstream" and "downstream" from the supported applications.

· Balances the appropriate system components to touchpoint systems.

· Completes reports/metrics/analysis, when needed.

SERVICING INNOVATION and OPTIMIZATION 50%: May include any or all of the following depending on the applications supported:

· Develops and maintains a strong/collaborative relationship with the users being supported on the applications.

· Tests changes for Roadmap items/enhancements/upgrades/new functionality to the applications. This includes screens, reports, processes, integrations, and interfaces. Uses accounting and/or systems acumen to accomplish.

· Creates and maintains complete testing documentation as directed by manager.

· Creates and maintains systems reference documentation for the applications.

· Creates and maintains end user documentation for the applications.

· Provides other business financial support as requested by manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree required or equivalent experience

  • Two plus years accounting experience preferred

  • Experience working with financial applications-vendor or proprietary required Experience with Oracle based EBusiness Suite, Oracle Analytics Cloud (Business Intelligence), or Oracle based Custom Applications preferred

  • Ability to work on projects that are routine to moderately difficult

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively service a wide internal customer base Excellent oral and written communication skills and able to collaborate well with internal customers.

  • Ability to be a proactive self-starter
