We are seeking a professional like you to join our Care Chemicals Division Supply Chain team at our production plant in Geismar, LA or at our headquarters in Florham Park, NJ. We are seeking a self-starter who can effectively manage many high-profile products in a complex and dynamic environment. As such, you will have a high degree of empowerment on day-to-day responsibilities and for overall management of supply.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning domestic production and managing the processes and systems that support the value chain for the Geismar, LA Surfactants production site. You will collaborate with Global and Regional Supply Chain teams from Care Chemicals and other Operating Divisions, Product Management, Sales, Controlling, Manufacturing, Customer Support, Regulatory, and Procurement to manage the supply chain in support of business objectives with a focus on Inventory Management and Customer Satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for you to demonstrate your ability to make value-added contributions in cross-functional project teams, as well as showcase your proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Formula for success...

  • Leveraging your education and work experience, you will drive supply chain excellence for your domestically produced portfolio by managing supply chain and S&OP activities for your portfolio, driving key decisions concerning domestic production and raw material supply, while serving as an interface to the regional and global Product Management and Supply Chain teams.

  • Demonstrating your planning experience and strong customer focus, you will manage production planning using APO PPDS in a highly integrated and dynamic environment, which will include master scheduling and finite planning, capacity balancing, and inventory management, as part of a global supply network, to meet customer and business requirements.

  • Your proven experience in driving innovation and continuous improvement will be vital as you optimize the value chain to support business objectives, including developing and executing plans to support customer-oriented goals, inventory targets, and cost optimization.

  • Your demonstrated ability to make value-added contributions in cross-functional project teams will be essential as you manage inventory levels consistent with business targets, including action plans for disposition of slow-moving and dysfunctional inventory.

  • Using your knowledge and experience in SAP, you will manage planning master data in SAP (R3 and APO), including article extensions, BOM’s, recipes/ routings, productions versions, etc.

  • Your strong organizational skills will serve you well as you take ownership of delivery reliability and support order fulfillment utilizing HOM report for open order commentary, monitoring sales vs forecast (escalate gaps), managing inventory level vs. plan, and developing appropriate corrective actions.

  • Utilizing your superior analytical skills, thorough knowledge of supply chain management concepts and ERP systems, and your excellent communication skills, you will define and drive continuous improvement initiatives, address supply/demand imbalances, and new product introductions in close collaboration with product management and global supply partners.

  • Your strengths in project coordination, time management and multi-tasking will be essential to deliver on commitments in a dynamic and complex environment.
