Robert Half Supply Chain Specialist in Flower Mound, Texas

Description

The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for analyzing the firm’s sales, inventory levels and product procurement cycle to predict and improve the firm’s ability to deliver its products to its customers. As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will use data to support recommendations for optimizing the procurement, inventory and transportation of its products. Responsibilities:

• Collecting and analyzing data from across the firm to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

• Managing supply chain processes and inventory using our ERP system and Excel.

• Establish and maintain relationships with the company's global offices to ensure seamless processing of orders.

• Monitoring sales forecasts, inventory levels, shipping, and production lead time to ensure all groups understand the procurement process.

• Create performance reports for management to review. • Identify and investigate pain points within the process and develop solutions to resolve conflicts and inefficiencies. Conduct the Sales Cut-off analysis.

• Monitor and communicate the purchasing activities to and from our headquarters.

• Maintain PO and Item Master in NetSuite.

• Review vendor invoices related to related parties and freight forwarders.

• Collect data on supply chain operations.

• Measure supply chain performance and report to management.

• Consistently seeking ways to improve supply chain management, including evaluating approaches, processes, tools, and technology. • Discover the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules. • Help foster trusting relationships with executive members.

Requirements

Requirements and skills:

• BS/BA in Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred

• 3+ years of proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, Logistics Coordinator, or similar role

• Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting

• Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g., Inventory planning)

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases, and ERP systems (NetSuite is a Plus)

• Problem-solving aptitude

• Extensive knowledge of Excel

• Attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skill
