Adecco US, Inc. Firmware Design Engineer in Fort Collins, Colorado

Are you a skilled Firmware Design Engineer looking for a temporary project?

Adecco is seeking a talented Firmware Design Engineer for our Client in Fort Collins, CO for a contract position lasting 4-8 weeks. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in embedded systems and firmware development. To be considered for this position please click on APPLY NOW!

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test firmware for embedded systems

  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure compatibility and optimize performance

  • Develop and maintain firmware documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals

  • Troubleshoot firmware issues and provide technical support

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers

  • Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS)

  • Experience with debugging tools and techniques

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with specific microcontroller architectures (e.g., ARM, AVR, PIC)

  • Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., UART, I2C, SPI)

  • Experience with firmware development tools (e.g., IDEs, debuggers)

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Location: Fort Collins, CO

Pay Rate: $40-$80/hour (depending on experience)

Duration: 4-8 weeks

Pay Details: $40.00 to $100.00 per hour
