DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Overview Stewart and Stevenson is searching for a Trainer.

Position Summary Responsible for conducting training sessions and providing instruction to internal and external customers in order to increase employee and customer competency levels regarding on-highway, off-highway, and marine diesel engines, transmissions, and related equipment.

Responsibilities * Conduct training needs analysis to determine specific training needs. * Identify and source training programs/materials from vendors in order to provide in-house training programs. * Ensure timely delivery of training materials needed for course. * Develop post training assessment tools and evaluate students post training for overall progress and reactions to presentations and exercises used to present training material. * Assist with the development and implementation of new and refresher training courses. * Conduct factory level training on assigned product line(s) for employees and outside customers and distributors. * Provide instruction to students in a manner that enables the students to acquire the necessary skills as specified by the course objectives. * Deliver training in a classroom and/or laboratory environment. * Manage classroom logistics and preparation. * Perform periodic examinations during the course of instruction to determine if students are achieving the course objectives. * Maintain class records and employee evaluations. * Communicate evaluations and test scores to appropriate individuals.
