Summary About the Position: This position will serve as a Training Instructor (JC-sUAS) with the US Army Air Defense Artillery School located at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The incumbent of this position will serve as a Training Instructor to the Director of the C-sUAS University on matters involving Joint Counter Unmanned Aircraft System planning and operations throughout the training course of Joint Services and Allied country attendees. Responsibilities Serve as a Training Instructor to the Director of the C-sUAS University on matters involving UAS planning and operations throughout the training course of Joint Services and Allied country attendees. Conduct training on subjects in one or more courses covering the components of the Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-SUAS) systems, Command and Control Computers, Communications and Intelligence (C4I). Follow the approved programs of instruction (POI) and prepares lesson plans for each subject. Instruct on the C-SUAS operations planning, system deployment, and adjustments of all Program of Instruction (POI) directed C-SUAS systems, along with integrated Forward Area Air Defense (FAAD) system. Analyze training materials to assure instructional techniques are effective and efficient. Ensures training objectives are met through the use of the system approach to training (SAT) and train the trainer procedures. Assist in the preparation and submission of changes to ASI-producing C-SUAS equipment. Provides data or the development of MOS questionnaires and surveys. Provides task summaries for inclusion in extension training material. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction, which includes the following: Conduct Joint Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (JC-sUAS) training in a classroom and field setting; Evaluate training results; Review training materials for Joint C-SUAS courses; and Research changes in the Joint C-SUAS field that will impact training and/or any element being taught. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Curriculum Development Education / Training Program Administration Instructional Delivery and Learner Development Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
