You will be the Software Engineer Associate Manager leading the development of modernization efforts performed on the Integrated Maintenance Information Systems (IMIS) team. Our team develops software capabilities in support the F-22 IMIS ground maintenance systems.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Software Engineer Associate Manager your primary focus will be managing software development activities. Responsible for coordinating employees, recruitment, selection of training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Your responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing the design, development, documentation, and testing of software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment

- Applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle

- Applying knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software

- Ensuring software standards are met

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance with an Interim Secret to start. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

• Leadership experience leading small technical teams providing planning, workload balancing, and technical guidance

• Agile practices experience

• Leadership experience with software engineering

• Collaborating with multiple engineering and business functions

Desired Skills:

• Experience with the integration of large scale software systems

• Experience with Agile and DevOps practices

• Experience working with cross functional software system development teams to ensure a quality product is delivered to the end user.

• Strong written and communication skills

• Experience collaborating with external partners

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
