DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will supervise employees in the Inmate Records Office who are engaged in routine and moderately complex clerical work. Your duties will include assigning and reviewing staff work, employee training and development, performance evaluation, approving or disapproving and monitoring leave, processing required annual reviews, screening and distributing all incoming correspondence, handling grievances, and adjusting employee complaints. Additionally, you will type various types of correspondence, memos, and reports.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 60 or 65. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Please Note: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $44,010.00 (before taxes). Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Clerical Supervisor 1; or One year as a Clerical Assistant 3; or Two years of as a Clerical Assistant 2; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements:
