Reliability Engineer

Freeport ,TX (On-site)

The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for improving the reliability of the plant with regard to equipment, procedures and working methods by analyzing the performance of the plant and developing a preventive and predictive maintenance plan that is directly supported by the SAP-PM module. All work completed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), sanitation/ safety/ regulatory requirements and divisional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owns Maintenance Plan in SAP – PM module and ensures compliance to ME-6 work process.

  • Owner of the PPM program for the Freeport site and associated PM Optimization.

  • Improve the reliability of the plant by analyzing performance and developing strategy that are data driven to optimize the preventive and predictive maintenance program.

  • Ensure equipment mechanical integrity and support site MI efforts.

  • Own and implement DSM Manufex KPI’s tree strategy to monitor equipment reliability and operational readiness.

  • Own assigned role within the PSLC road map.

  • Support local capital projects management to improve reliability, including project budgets and schedules.

  • Owner of Monthly Learn and Improve meeting.

    You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering. Extensive experience in the field of Reliability Engineering is preferred.

  • 0 to 3 years’ experience.

  • Knowledge of SAP, Excel, Power point, Microsoft project, mechanical technology and reliability methods

  • Basic knowledge of FMEA,RCM2, RCA, tools and application.

  • Basic knowledge in one or more predictive technologies (Thermography, Vibration, Ultrasonic Tribology)

  • Knowledge of applicable SHE & Manufacturing requirements

    • Knowledge of applicable codes, standards and techniques related to mechanical integrity inspection.
