This long-term contract / temporary role is for a Collections Specialist who wants to work remotely and start immediately!

What you get to do every single day

• Identify delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment

• Act as a company representative in upholding quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries

• Head all billing and reporting activities in response to deadlines

• Ensure bankruptcy filings are processed in the correct manner when received

• Guarantee the processing of payments

• Abide by all rules and regulations established by the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act

• Maintain and update customer files to sustain data integrity

• Log all customer payments to the correct reports

• Manage inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence

  Requirements - AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred

• 2-3 years of prior high volume collections experience

• Commercial collections experience required

• Comprehensive knowledge of B2B collections

• Experience using accounting software

• Sound written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to survey and make decisions regarding customer accounts
