Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers oversee the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

  • The AMAS Senior Supply Chain Manager is responsible for building and growing the regional Team to guarantee future growth of the Business in a safe and compliant environment.

  • The Senior Supply Chain Manager establishes the material flow that will guarantee timely and cost-effective availability of parts for the end customers, establishes the regional Supply Chain strategy in line with Global - expecting to drive better performance of the KPIs.

  • They will have to drive a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability to changing market conditions within the team.

  • Qualified candidates will have experience in lean tools, knowledge of ERP system and strong teamwork skills. APICS certification will be differentiating factor.

  • This position is 100% on-site at the Fuquay-Varina location

Job Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee that safety, respect and compliance are top priorities within their teams

  • Set the regional vision and strategy for Warehouse, Material planning, import – export teams to ensure the plan is executed for company growth, new market opportunities and increased efficiency

  • Build the capabilities of the team to achieve the expected results

  • Execute the plan deriving from SIOP, control compliance to plan and implement gap closure plan in case of deviations

  • Focus on key value drivers to drive even more efficiency

  • Define stocking strategy for components and raw materials to guarantee market growth and customer satisfaction

  • Drive revenue forecast for the region

  • Expert in SOE (Sales and Operation Execution) with strong focus on execution and processes in the 0-3 month horizon

  • Establish sustainable processes to review key planning parameters and provide audit, drive improvement of planning master data management in all EMEA plant

  • Run kaizen event to drive rapid changes and generate savings

  • Set and drive improvements of KPI that will ensure World Class Supply Chain Management

  • Regularly audit current practices to challenge the teams, bring awareness to make sure that change and continuous improvement become mindset

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Engineering

  • 12+ years’ of professional experience; with 5-7 years’ of leadership experience

  • Ability to drive change and influence key stakeholders in a global and matrixed environment

  • Ability to prioritize workload based upon organization / team needs

  • Hands on experience of lean manufacturing and Material replenishment and flow

  • Skill in analyzing complex problems and in evaluating options to solve the issue

  • Skill in staff management through motivating, developing and directing people as they work

  • Skill in data management, Excel, ERP system

  • Qualified candidates will have experience in lean tools, knowledge of ERP system and strong teamwork skills. APICS certification will be preferred

  • Strong Project Management & Communication Skills

  • Ability to influence others at all levels of the organization through collaboration

  • Exhibits, drives and communicates a clear understanding of desired results

  • Has clear vision and demonstrates the ability to learn, develop and deploy new ideas

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience:$139,840- $209,760(subject to change dependent on physical location)

• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
