Boeing Poland Engineering and Technology Center is currently seeking a Boeing Global Services Senior Engineering Manager to join our team located in Gdansk, Poland .

Responsibilities:

• Manages a geographically disbursed team of engineering managers, design and structural analysis engineers supporting Boeing Global Services.

• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members, team first line leaders and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

• Manages employees and first line leaders performing activities within multiple (3 or more) Engineering disciplines.

• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

• Plan, schedule and manage project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.

• Drive organizational productivity improvements through the use of the Lean principles

• Manages, develops and motivates employees for expertise in product line statements of work.

• Supporting LRBP and Strategy creation for dedicated SoW.

• Lead communication with Customer on forecast and scope of upcoming work, required resources and possible risks. Interact with Customer for confirmation and approval of project and processes requirements, including quality, budget and terms. If necessary, clarification of technical requirements. Develop a long-term and short-term planning activities.

• Define and track project goals. Define resources required for project execution. Project execution: monitors progress of work and its accordance to requirements, systematic analysis of work results, reports to leadership about work progress and results.

• Manage and control project/program budget. Plan, confirm, organize and supervise project/program overtime works.

• Secure of organization Quality Management System according to ISO2001/AS9100 standards. Summarize results of project/program execution together with technical leads, discipline leaders and Customer.

• Provide systematic receiving of the information about Customer’s satisfaction, analyze this information and if necessary develop corrective actions. Reports to leadership about results of analysis of Customer’s satisfaction.

• Searching for opportunities to further development of projects/programs, builds long-term relationship with Customer, searches and implements B2B solutions.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Master degree or equivalent in Engineering or/and Aerospace.

• Experience in project/program management 5 or more years.

• Work experience as part of international team.

• Advanced English.

• Existing rights to work in Poland.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Leadership skills. Successful experience in leading of project/programs.

• Strong skills to coordinate and manage short term and long term projects/programs and build positive relationship with customer.

• Risk analysis and risk management skills. Experience in Lean practices. Strong presentation skills.

• Flexibility, creativity and out of box thinking. Ability to make decisions in uncertain environment and take risks

• Competent across engineering disciplines.

• Experience using tracking and reporting tool.

• Experience implementing lean or six-sigma principles on a team

• Proven track record of successful delivery of complexity and risk in projects across a variety of areas.
