Citigroup Credit Data Management Senior Analyst in Geneva, Switzerland

Wealth Credit Management (WCM) at Citi is a business line that provides integrated end to end credit underwriting, transaction, and portfolio management in partnership with all the origination businesses of the Private Bank and Wealth Management of Citi. We are looking to hire an experienced professional for the Credit Data Management Team (CMT) within Loan Product and Transaction Management in the WCM organization.

CMT provides an independent and comprehensive Quality Control at the credit approval stage to ensure data accuracy, regulatory and policy requirements as well as wealth product program specifics are followed and addressed appropriately. This team works closely with Underwriters and Team Heads to facilitate a seamless credit process and mitigate several risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations as well as Citi’s Policies and Product Programs impacting the Business

  • Review credit, regulatory & policy driven data attributes in the credit system

  • Ensure loan parties are KYC complaint prior authorizing facility

  • Verify credit memo information and data captured in credit system for consistency

  • Ensure appropriate approval levels are obtained and captured

  • Authorize credit facility approvals and modifications in the regional system

  • Ensure compliance of local regulatory documentation/information prior to the facility authorization

  • Lead projects and provide valuable input with various working groups created to enhance performance and efficiency

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

  • Knowledge of loan products

  • Good understanding of Credit Memo

  • Knowledge of Citibank’s Credit Policies, Wealth Product Programs, and Citi policies

  • Understanding of regional and local regulations including Swiss local laws

  • Familiarity with loan documentation structure

  • Understanding of KYC and AML policies

  • Strong initiative and interactive approach to problem solving

  • Experience collaborating with Underwriters

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a large financial institution is a must

  • Prior experience in working in a control function, credit management or banking/client service role is preferred

  • Understanding of lending rules and regulations is preferred

  • Undergraduate degree is required

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent oral and written communication capability
