Siemens Energy Manufacturing Technician Wax Sub Assembly 1st Shift in Gibsonton, Florida

A Snapshot of Your Day

Will be working with metal plates and EQ Sprues Molds to be used in the Wax Assembly process. Will be participating in training and cross-training in production areas. Following Work Instructions will produce parts of outstanding quality.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Follows methods used for Sub-assembly DS and EQ Molds and any other Wax Component required in the Assembly process.

  • Works with small hydrogen torches, hot plates, brushes, hot wax, irons, and a variety of specialized Wax Hand Tools.

  • Follows written work instructions, and photographs and will use hand tools to patch, smooth, and fill areas on Sprues.

  • Attach pour coups to sprues with accurate orientation/spacing and visually inspect Sprues, Metal Plates, and Subcomponents for defects.

  • Review router instructions and quantity for acceptance.

  • Updates and completes daily paperwork.

  • Maintain a regular work schedule and a clean work area.

  • Follow additional instructions as assigned and cross-training as needed.

What You Bring

  • High school graduate or GED.

  • Knowledge or interest in manufacturing.

  • Good attention to detail and eye/hand coordination skills.

  • Able to perform basic math functions using the metric system.

  • Ability to read Engineering instructions.

  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

  • This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
