HR Leader (Contract Role) Location: Gilbert, Arizona Job Summary: Coopervision is currently looking to hire and HR Leader to join our team for a 3 month contract. Located in Gilbert, Arizona manufacturing facility, This role will provide HR leadership to the Specialty Eye Care Business. Here you will be tasked with partnering with the Specialty Eye Care America’s Leadership Team and drive the implementation of our HR strategic plan during this 3 month period. The Sr. HR Manager will have managerial responsibility for HR Business Partners at our Gilbert and Sherbrooke site. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has 8 years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably working within a global matrix organization. Essential Functions & Accountabilities: * Work in partnership with the SEC America’s leadership team to ensure HR priorities align with business objectives * Provide Business Partner support and counsel to leadership team * Ensure continuity of 2022 HR goals – specifically for this time period, work closely with COEs to understand the timeline and processes for end-of-year performance management and merit/bonus cycle. Ensure there is a comprehensive training on end-of-year processes and that the two direct HRBP reports are prepared to deliver it and support their clients through the process according to the timeline. Preview the end-of-year processes for the leadership team so they understand what will be expected. * In partnership with your direct reports, review the most recent Gallup employee engagement survey results and ensure complete and meaningful action plans are entered by each people leader by the due date. * Assist with potential M&A integration work * Provide day-to-day leadership of direct reports and conduct a weekly 1:1 with each of them and a weekly team meeting to ensure cohesion and continuity * Manage escalated employee relations issues * Provide regular updates to the Sr. Director of Human Resources Qualifications/Requirements: * 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources management supporting a global organization. * Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business, or related field * Demonstrated experience exhibiting strategic leadership skills. * Ability to build and maintain strong business partnerships and working relationships across functions, levels, and locations. * Strong analytical skills, to include expert understanding of HR-related KPIs, and the ability to effectively communicate those to the client group. * Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. * Experience working with empowered/self-directed work team. * Ability to deal with uncertainty and ambiguity * Strong change management and organizational development skills * Management/supervisory experience with eye towards mentoring/developing staff * Normal office environment in a manufacturing facility with reasonable level of travel * Strong business acumen CooperVision, a division of CooperCompanies (NYSE:COO), is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of soft contact lenses.
