Contract Position

\$21.00 - \$26.00 / Hourly

Responsibilities:

• Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment at customer or field locations.
• Provide maintenance and technical support on equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and software.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions, ensuring quick resolution of issues.
• Perform depot-level repairs, modifications, and refurbishments for components of the Modernized Target Designation Sight/Pilotage Night Vision System (M-TADS/PNVS).
• Conduct electrical rework and repair of cable harnesses, wires, and circuit card assemblies in line with J-STD-001, IPC-7711, and IPC-7721 standards.
• Operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and network analyzers to perform fault isolation.
• Complete work according to engineering drawings, schematics, Repair Component Procedures (RCPs), and other technical documents.
• Document work in automated maintenance data collection systems.
• Perform testing and checkout of mechanical, electrical, structural, and hydraulic subsystems.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent with technical training and a minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance tasks.

• Ability to lift 35 pounds and work with hazardous materials.

• Knowledge of Government property control policies and procedures.

• Proficient in soldering and repairing cables/harnesses.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.

• Desired Skills:

  • Solder certification to J-STD-001, IPC-7711, or IPC-7721.
