The Opportunity:

As a Maintenance Leadman you will perform preventive maintenance procedures on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment on a scheduled basis. This role includes inspecting belts, gearboxes, chains, bearings, etc. You will also troubleshoot low voltage circuits, analog devices, VFDs, and motor control circuitry to obtain a root cause of failures. As well as troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, and devices to determine faults and failures. You will perform regular repair and maintenance are required in non-production areas including the warehouse, design lab, building, and grounds. We use CMMS system for work order implementation, recordkeeping of daily activities, and planned projects.

Requirements:

  • 2 - 3 years of Electro-Mechanical Automation System Installation & Troubleshooting Experience

An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes; motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.* A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

  • A strong PLC trouble shooting and problem solving ability with practical, mechanical & electrical aptitude.

  • Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.

  • Must be computer literate with Microsoft environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner.

  • Ability to work various shifts / overtime / days per week.
