Aerotek Tool And Die Maker in Goshen, Indiana

Pay:

$30 to $36

Job Duties:

  • Most of the responsibilities will be bench vs. reactive die work

  • Repair or remake tooling and dies for production (various presses: restrike, stamping, progressive, etc.)

  • Ability to use manual lathes and mills

  • Utilization of various grinders (hand grinder, surface grinder, and pencil grinding)

  • Operation of Wire EDM and CNC Trak Mills

  • Operating saws to cut own order bar stock

  • Interpretation of in-depth blueprint drawings

  • Determination of data from blueprints (i.e. hole sizes, tool sizes, reference points, and direction of machine cutting paths)

  • PM sharpening of various tooling

  • Change-over of dies for production

MUST HAVES:

  • T&D Maker experience

  • Must own set of tools

  • Ability to utilize various manual machinery (Bridgeport Mill, manual lathes, grinders, etc.)

  • Ability to utilize CNC machinery (mills, EDM, etc.)

  • Journeyman T&D Card or working equivalent (8 years) (experienced)

Would Be Nice:

  • Previous experience in metal stamping

  • Ability to lead apprentice-level employees in the toolroom
