As part of the Instrument and Enterprise Services (IES) team (ULS brand), you’ll join a community of service sales specialists who have strong customer relationships and solid knowledge of service delivery within our Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division .

How will you make an impact?

The Associate Territory Manager is responsible for assisting the support plan sales team for the Chromatography and Life Science business within the Analytical Instruments Group. In this critical sales position, you will focus on assisting the Sales Team exceed sales quotas for our service portfolio by researching system and customer information, communicating with Field Service and Instrument Sales to address any system questions, and responding to both internal and external customer questions related to coverage and instrument status. You will collaborate with cross divisional & channel distribution partners, product & application specialists, chromatography & mass spectrometry instrument teams, customer experience and business development teams to help drive sales.

This a remote based position covers the US

Travel: up to 10% overnight

What will you do?

  • Achieve and exceed monthly & yearly sales goals within assigned POD

  • Master the critical messaging and sales approach for the broader target audience with superior knowledge of our service products

  • Act as a resource to others in determining the best course of action in compliance with quality processes and business rules and regulations

  • Submits accurate forecasts, weekly reports, monthly highlights, marketing intelligence, and maintains data integrity within SalesForce.com CRM

  • Maintain intensity and continually striving to assist CMD Team in increasing contract penetration coverage of instrument install base

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science or equivalent education or experience

  • Minimum one (1) year of selling experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience successfully meeting or exceeding sales target in a complex business environment

  • Success in territory management plans with a focus on developing long-term relationships

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.)

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of Chromatography (GC and HPLC), Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS and LC/MS) and Chromatography Information Data Systems (CDS/LIMS).

  • Familiarity with the following industries: biotech, clinical, pharmaceutical, academic/medical research, environmental, food, forensics, and petrochemical

  • Proficiency with sales software like Salesforce.com

  • Experience managing independent selling or distribution channels strongly preferred

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Wisconsin is $19.00–$24.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
